Purpose
Unify the efforts of organizations operating in Brunswick County in the area of housing rehabilitation. To better manage resources and services, eliminate duplication of effort and better inform those needing assistance and opportunities available to them.
Goals
1. Identify residents/households needing help; 2. Determine solution criteria 3. Identify volunteers and encourage participation by groups with expertise in home repair; 4. Provide access to Energy and Safety Audits to increase energy efficiency and safety.
Guidelines
Create and maintain a shared database and referral process on homeowners needing assistance. to qualify applicants must own their homes or have life estates and meet income standards appropriate to various organization requirements and funding sources.
