Sunday June 15, 2008 Faith Communities Lead the Way Houses of Worship and Faith based Groups all over the County are “Making It Happen”.  We are asking Brunswick County congregations of all incomes, faiths and backgrounds to raise the awareness in their congregations about the need for Workforce/Affordable Housing.                                                  In addition, church groups and civic clubs are coming out on Brunswick Cares Day, Thursday June 19, and volunteering as we do some landscaping and cleanup projects for the elderly and disabled in your community.  Want to make an announcement in your church to the forms page and click on Church Handouts and you will find everything you need.  Many in the Faith Based Community have signed on to the Brunswick Housing Coalition’s Guiding Principles of Workforce/Affordable Housing.  We are asking you to help us get even more signatures of individuals and churches.  Go to the home page and click on Guiding Principles.  Review the principles and if you agree that these 7 principles should be the basis of workforce/affordable housing policy for Brunswick County then add your signature and voice to ours.  Consider Sponsorship of Brunswick Workforce Housing Week (BWHW) includes a link to the BHO website, business card spot in the BWHW Booklet (initial printing 500), a ticket to the Triple H Awards Breakfast and a ticket to the Leadership Lunch.  We need your support.
